Short answers to the questions everyone asks.

How do tickets and waitlists work?+

Every event sells tickets in capacity pools — often balanced (women / men) so the room stays even. If your pool is sold out you can join its waitlist for free; when someone cancels you're offered the spot (with a notification) and pay then to confirm it.

How does meeting people work?+

You get a few member profiles a day — not an endless deck. Like the ones you mean it about; nobody ever sees a one-way like. When it's mutual you're connected: you both pick free evenings and venues, we book a real meetup at a curated spot, and chat opens on the day you meet. There are no cold DMs anywhere.

What is Club Night?+

Our standing weekly ritual. One shared night a week — Club Night — turns 'we should grab a drink sometime' into 'see you there'. Club Night events are badged on every event card, and the app has a Club Night filter. Plenty more runs around it: after-work drinks, dinners, run clubs.

Who runs the events?+

We do. Every event is an official Clementine's event, organized by our team in a public venue — you just RSVP and show up. No user-run groups, no flaky organizers.

What does the verified badge mean?+

It means the member confirmed their phone number. It isn't a photo or identity check — though every profile does require a real photo with a face. Our team sees verification at check-in, and profiles show it everywhere.

How do age ranges work?+

Events set an age window (like 25–39). Your birthdate never shows — only your age — and RSVP is checked against the window.

How much do tickets cost?+

No event is free — prices are shown per spot type on the event page, and you pay in the app when you grab a spot. Joining a waitlist costs nothing; you only pay if a spot opens up for you. Cancel more than 24 hours before the event for a full refund.

How do I join, RSVP or delete my account?+

Everything account-related happens in the Clementine's iPhone app — sign-up, tickets, likes, meetups, and account deletion (Settings → Delete Account in the app). The website is for browsing events.

How do I reach a human?+

Email hello@clementines.club — we read everything. If you're locked out of the app, can't get a refund resolved, or need your data exported or corrected, that's the address. Safety reports are fastest from the app (any profile → Report), where they go straight to the moderation queue.
